Adventures in Intuition

We all have moments where we connect with a feeling that there may be more to the simple sights and sounds of life, something hiding under the surface of our perceptions. About a year ago, when I committed to learning more about connecting with that feeling and amplifying its volume, I had no idea that it would lead my mind down such a radical path of beliefs and life experiences. I’ve been a skeptic in the past, but my life experience over the past year has instilled a certainty in me that the inner voice we all question and doubt its worth, truly is the source of miracles and amazement in our lives. The spiritual lessons I’ve learned seemed to have come to me at the perfect time, and while I’ve explored these aspects of thought in the past, they’ve never sunk in quite like they have for me recently. The way I’ve been living my life, and I can say that I’m happier than I’ve ever been, is by accessing the feeling of gratitude for everything I have and want in my life and just witne

Big Island of Hawaii You Don't Know

Big Island is the youngest island in the archipelago of Hawaii, called “big” because the area twice the size larger than all the other islands and atolls groups combined. But the territory of the island is at the period of “making of”, because of five active volcanoes. There are two existing theories of creating the name of this island. The first – the island was received from legendary Polynesian navigator Hawaiiloa , second – it was named Havayiki ancient land, where there were all Polynesians, and where they go to the other world after death. The diversity of the archipelago is explained by the combination of desert, tropical forests, volcanic areas on its territory blocking the northeast trade winds and making the leeward west side of the driest part of the archipelago. That is the reason why most of the resort areas of focus here. The territory of the windward east coast includes its volcanic landscape, deep gorges, majestic waterfalls, rugged surf, often rainy weather and den

A Weeks Walking in Northumberland » The Best Travel Destinations

Being from sunny Sussex it’s not often that I make the journey up to the north of the country and explore the countries highlights, but as we were in Newcastle for an old university friends wedding last month, we decided to extend the weekend and spend a week, walking in the Northumberland countryside. Friends had raved about the area for years saying that the combination of unspoiled coastline, castles and bustling market towns made the area very unique. As we’d had a long drive up and had planned to be a little hung-over from the wedding we decided to not stay in one of the larger towns and book a pretty little self-catering holiday cottage where we could chill out, spend some time together and explore some of the coastlines. On a friend’s recommendation, we decided to stay in Warkworth, an ancient and picturesque village on the coast, with rugged countryside and in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Although initially, we wanted to just relax and unwind once we were there
